Amer has been in the legal profession since 2009 and is experienced in advising and representing both national and international clients before both state and arbitral bodies, in domestic, regional and international disputes, under various governing laws.
Prior to joining the Firm, Amer was working within the arbitration and construction practice group of a leading international law firm in Beirut, Lebanon where he advised and represented clients in arbitration proceedings under international arbitration rules such as the rules of the ICC, BCCI, DIAC and CRCICA.
His practice with the Firm focuses on representing clients before judicial bodies in Qatar in civil, commercial, and administrative disputes and representing clients before tribunals in local and international arbitration matters.
Amer hold an LLB from the Lebanese University, a Master’s degree in International Private Law from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II), and an LLM in International and Comparative Dispute Resolution from the International Arbitration School of Queen Mary University of London. Amer has completed his PhD program at the Sorbonne Law School with a special focus on cross border complex litigation and arbitration and is a member of the Beirut Bar Association.
He is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
