Mahmoud has been in the legal profession since 2013. He has worked as a contract administrator for a renewable energy company, and thereafter a financial consultant, in Canada since 2010 and subsequently in 2013 joined a leading regional law firm in Qatar where he advised on civil and commercial law matters.
His practice with the Firm focuses on corporate and commercial, regulatory and compliance, and telecom, media, technology and IP matters and reviewing, drafting and negotiation of contractual documentation.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Carleton University in Ottawa, a Diploma in Islamic Finance from the Academy of International Modern Studies in Kent, a Master's degree in General Management from Harvard University in Cambridge, a Master 'sdegree in Islamic Law from Middlesex University in London, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern Queensland.
He is fluent in Arabic and English.
