Public-Private Partnership sewage treatment project launched in Qatar

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Al Attiya Motors & Trading Company, Metito Utilities Limited and the direct investments group of Gulf Investment Corporation recently announced the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) sewage treatment project in Qatar. Aside from energy projects, the project is the largest to be implemented between the public and private sectors, and will be located in Al Wakra and Al Wukair.

The signing ceremony for the project included a documentary on the sewage treatment plant showing the wastewater networks and the project’s operational and developmental phases.
