Shayaan is a UK and US-trained legal professional. He began his career with a leading law firm in Pakistan where his range of work included M&A, joint ventures, shareholder and management buyouts, equity capital markets, commercial agreements and legal compliance.
His practice at the firm focuses on advising on a broad spectrum of corporate transactions and commercial agreements, including Islamic financing structures and agreements, and advising on dispute management, pre-contentious and contentious matters.
Shayaan holds an LL.B. from the University of London and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, both with awards of academic excellence. He was Called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn and is an advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan.
Shayaan is fluent in English and Urdu, and speaks Arabic and basic French.
